Canticle of the Plains (Rich Mullins) pdf, epub, doc

WONDERFUL WONDERFUL!!! the music is basically acoustic and mellow, but beautiful. st. francis of assisi is someone rich mullins really admired, and so he wrote a musical about his life, based in the american west of the 1800's. very creative idea, and beautiful arrangements. rich chose a great cast of singers, who i am still amazed arent more famous or better known than they are. leigh nash from sixpense none the richer, and kevin max (smith) from DC Talk. also michael tate from DC Talk. Mitch McVicker is a soloist as well, who was with Rich in the car accident that took his life. Unfortunately Rich did not see this project finished. and he only sings backup on his own record! it was his idea to use his name to promote other singers. a very creative and beautiful album. i love the arrangements and the way that st. francis's words are renewed in another art form. definitely rich's best (i dont care what anyone says!) and one of my favorite albums ever. (could you tell?)
